May is Mental Health Awareness Month.
And if I’m being honest… this one is personal for me.
I’ve struggled with anxiety. I’ve lived through PTSD.
I know what it feels like to carry things that don’t just “go away.”
The kind of weight that shows up quietly…
in your thoughts, your body, your day-to-day life.
For a long time, I thought I just had to push through it.
Be strong. Keep going. Smile anyway.
But healing doesn’t work like that.
Healing is slower.
It’s messy.
It’s uncomfortable.
And sometimes… it’s just choosing to take one small step forward.
That’s why I created After the Supernova.
Not because I have all the answers—but because I understand the process.
It’s a space to reflect.
To process what you’ve been holding in.
To start putting words to things that are hard to explain.
Because healing doesn’t happen overnight…
but it does happen.
And if you’re in a hard season right now—
I want you to know this:
You are not alone.
You are not broken.
And there is still hope for you.
Always.
